Harold David Bishop Jr. is a well-established presence in St. Augustine, Florida community who has guided technology-driven companies for more than two decades. As co-founder and managing partner of Allurent since 2015, Harold Bishop has focused on providing a suite of coordinated Florida engineering services encompassing systems control and automation.

A graduate of the DeVry Institute of Technology, Mr. Bishop gained early experience with Measurex Systems and successfully set in place tailored application software that managed distributed control systems. He launched his own consulting business, Object Technologies CEM, Inc., in the mid-1990s, where he pioneered a system of manufacturing services that enabled bottom-line results while avoiding dependency on any single control system. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Bishop has optimized processes and managed projects spanning a full range of controls platforms. He holds certification in a number of areas, including as Rockwell, Siemens, and Honeywell Integrators and as GE Proficy/iFix Solution Provider.

 

In addition to his engineering career, Mr. Bishop is leading the reconstruction of the historic building at 9 Aviles Street.  Harold Bishop purchased the historic Spanish mission-style building in 2017 under the LLC name Red Moon Properties and is in the process of reconstructing it. Once completed, the redeveloped property be used as an event space and support the historic nature of the oldest street in America, Aviles Street.
